ASU football has officially cancelled Saturday's scrimmage at Camp Tontozona, the team announced Friday.

The decision by the Sun Devils came after stormy weather affected practice throughout the week at Camp T — including early finishes to multiple scheduled practices.

According to a release posted by Sun Devil Athletics, the decision to leave Payson was based on Friday and Saturday's weather forecasts.

ASU will return to Tempe and continue fall practice on Saturday at 8:40 a.m. in the Verde Dickey Dome. Practice will be closed to the public.
