The No. 21 Sun Devil gymnastic team's season came to an end on Friday with a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Baton Rouge regional.

The team scored 195.425 points, coming up short of No. 13 Auburn's 197.075 and No. 3 LSU's 197.2.

Sophomore Cairo Leonard-Baker led the Sun Devils with 39.35 total points, tying for the fifth-most points from all-around gymnasts at the meet. Leonard-Baker scored 9.75 on beam, 9.825 on vault, 9.85 on floor and a meet-high 9.925 on bars.

ASU fell short on its beam rotation, scoring a meet-low 48.5 points. Senior Justine Callis scored a team-high 9.8 on beams.

The team ended the season with four first-place finishes, having the same amount as the previous year.

LSU continued its dominant performance across the board, scoring three 9.9s or above from three different gymnasts.

The Sun Devils will look quite different next year, as the team loses seven seniors to graduation.
