ASU women's basketball won their sixth game in a row in a 70-55 victory over Creighton Friday afternoon at Desert Financial Arena in Tempe.

The Sun Devils converted nearly half of their field goal attempts while holding the Bluejays to just 33% shooting.

Senior guard Robbi Ryan led the way for the Sun Devils with a team-high 12 points in addition to three rebounds. Sophomore forward Jayde Van Hyfte scored 11 points, grabbed six rebounds and had an assist.

Senior forward Jamie Ruden scored 11 points with three rebounds and an assist. Senior guard Kiara Russell scored six points and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds and senior guard Reili Richardson scored six and had a team-high eight assists.

While ASU committed more turnovers than Creighton, the Sun Devils out-rebounded the Bluejays 41-27, ensuring the Sun Devils lead all game.

ASU outscored Creighton in the first three quarters and controlled game in its entirety. This is ASU’s third straight win of 15 points or more, and their sixth win in a row.

Now, the Sun Devils start conference play, which is no small task. Currently, five Pac-12 schools are ranked in the AP top 25, four of which are in the top ten, including no. 1 Stanford.

ASU exits the non-conference portion of their season with a 10-2 record and hasn’t lost a game in the month of December.

ASU will start conference play against rival and AP No. 18 Arizona on Dec. 29.
