3D printing, or additive manufacturing, is a simple process that has changed the way we produce items from food to specific tools. And that's just the consumer side of the story.

3D printing provides a new means of production for all industries, which Dhruv Bhate helps break down. Bhate is an associate professor who specializes in additive manufacturing. In this episode, he explains how 3D printing is only as limited as the imagination and the different ways the technology may be applied.
