What's going on everybody? Welcome back to the state press play podcast releasing in the summer. So I hope everybody's having a great summer I'm Joahan Lopez the host for this special feature episode of state press play and I had the pleasure to interviewing Celeste Seppesy she was pretty much a former state press alumni. She worked with the magazine that was like her thing back in the 2005 range with the organization and we had a great conversation she gave great insight and and I had a lot of fun editing this podcast. I hope you guys enjoy.

But Celeste, thank you so much for joining this. How are we doing today?
Celeste Seppesy:

Celeste Seppesy:

And so I was a columnist for my first year, and then I moved into the magazine and eventually landed as magazine editor in chief. So I never did like the news thing. I just wasn't a news girly. I was more interested in doing kind of more in depth, more narrative style writing. So I did the State Press for three years, and then I my time was up, and I bounced
