Kentucky transfer and soon to be redshirt sophomore Cutter Boley is coming to Tempe, according to FootballScoop and Chris Karpman.
In 2025, he threw 2,160 yards and 15 touchdowns with 12 interceptions. He took over as Kentucky's starter following an injury to Zach Calzada and went 4–6 in ten starts.
Coming into college, the Kentucky native was ranked as a four-star prospect and the No. 389 overall player in the 2024 class, per the On3 Consensus. He has prior ties to ASU head coach Kenny Dillingham, who recruited and offered him while serving as Oregon's offensive coordinator in 2022.
Boley, the No. 17 transfer portal quarterback prospect according to 247sports, looks to replace redshirt sophomore Sam Leavitt. He has three years of eligibility remaining and joins a quarterback room that includes freshman Cameron Dyer and incoming four-star recruit Jake Fette.
