More than a dozen kids signed up for the junior archaeologist field day at the ASU Deer Valley Rock Art Center, where they learned the basics of archaeology and participated in a mock dig.
The ASU softball team started off their season on the right note by going 7-0 in their home tournament the Kajikawa Classic.
The ASU women's swim and dive finished their last home meet of the season with a decisive win over NAU, beating the Lumberjacks with a score of 146-91.

The ASU Volleyball Team took on the UA Wildcats on Friday night in the 2012 Territorial Cup at Wells Fargo Arena. ASU defeated the wildcats in four sets with a final score of 3-1.
The Arizona State Fair, which began Oct. 12, will close Nov. 4.
