Tempe healing field honors lives of 9/11 victims

The Tempe Exchange club hosted its 12th annual Healing Field Friday, at Mill Avenue and Salado Parkway. The field of flags honors the victims of the Sept. 11 attacks and the soldiers who have lost their lives in the war on terror. Over 3,000 flags form a "living graveyard," giving visitors the opportunity to connect with the victims and have a healing experience.
