Behind the scenes of ASU club sports

The club sports’ programs at ASU may not be NCAA affiliated, but the students involved are no different than the scholarship-funded athletes in all other ASU-funded sports.

Pitchfork Sports: On track for triumph

Founded this year, the ASU Triathlon Club team is looking to make its mark by swimming, biking and running their way to the national stage. The club came together as a result of a split of the Cycling team and Triathlon team in the spring.

I’ll never be paid to play a sport (and could possibly be paid to stop trying to play basketball), but I enjoy challenging myself physically and consider myself athletic.
