ASU's Tempe and downtown Phoenix campuses, along with surrounding areas, are recovering from the Monday night's rainstorm.

The rain uprooted trees, flooded buildings and dumped up to an inch of rain on some parts of the Valley, leaving more than 55,000 people without power Monday night.

Follow The State Press for continued coverage of how the storms affected campus and students in the area.
