According to a report from Devils Digest's Hod Rabino, ASU football redshirt sophomore cornerback Ronald Lewis will transfer.

Lewis is expected to return to his home school of Louisiana Tech with other options being Tulane and Louisiana Lafayette, according to the report. The 6-foot, 190-pound defensive back is a native of Harvey, Louisiana.

The redshirt sophomore was listed behind redshirt senior cornerback Lloyd Carrington at boundary corner on the latest depth chart, but appeared to be outshone by fellow cornerbacks such as freshman Kareem Orr and redshirt senior Solomon Means during fall camp.

Lewis began his career at ASU as a wide receiver before transitioning to defensive back, where head coach Todd Graham said he had made significant strides.

Lewis appeared in 11 games last season, registering one tackle.
