On Aug. 20, hockey player Matthew Mayich collapsed during a team workout led by Tim Ziesel, an Army special forces veteran. After suffering exertional heat stroke during the workout, the lawyer representing Mayich's family has since said he has "no chance of recovery."

Those members of the hockey team, alongside Mayich's family's lawyer, have called for the University to take several actions to both protect the players and find the truth of the situation.
