Criminal justice sophomore Laura La Bianca- I'm also from Germany, so when I first moved here lots of people asked me stuff about Hitler. It was all negative things. Just because I was foreign, they placed me under 'we don't want to talk to you because we have different things.'

There is no doubt that ASU is full of talented students. However, just in case anyone did not believe it, the Pitchfork Awards held at the beautiful Orpheum Theater in Downtown Phoenix on April 9, validated and celebrated Sun Devil school spirit.

Nursing freshman Martine Desulme- I think that everyone has an interest in everything. Fan-girling doesn't just have to be teen girls that are in love with this boy band or this musical artist. You see it in everybody. It could be grown men in love with football or just someone into watching the food network channel. I feel like being a fan of something forms a community within people.

An art exhibit exploring gender, sexuality and pop culture through the shifting boundary of girlhood to womanhood opened Friday at The Step Gallery in downtown Phoenix. Through physical and canvas art, the exhibit juxtaposes the painful and weird ways to meet the media expectation of beauty with glitter and the color pink.

Caio Pagano's 75 years of life were celebrated at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts Monday in a rousing concert that echoed the ASU professor's travels and world famous piano achievements. The school has been fortunate enough to be home to the talented musician and professor since 1986.
