ASU police released the following incidents Thursday:
A 1992 Chevy Pickup was stolen from Parking Lot 59. Estimated loss is $8,000.
An unknown person stole a backpack and all of its contents, value estimated at $670, from the shelves in the lobby area of the ASU Bookstore.
ASU police released the following incident Friday:
A 19-year-old student committed aggravated assault against a fellow resident in Palo Verde West. He reportedly pushed the victim into the hallway and head butted him, which caused his nose to bleed. Both people involved had been drinking together at a fraternity party. The victim was reportedly confronting him after the other student had been calling him "BJ," for "blowjob," all night.
Tempe police reported the following incidents Tuesday:
A 21-year-old Tempe man was arrested for assault in the 600 block of South Hardy Drive. He reportedly poured several chemicals, including mouthwash, hairspray, toilet bowl cleaner and others, on his live-in girlfriend while she was in the shower.
A 23-year old Tempe woman was arrested for assault in the 100 block of East Fifth Street. She reportedly threw a cordless phone and hit her boyfriend in the head with it.
A 39-year-old transient man was arrested for disorderly conduct and criminal damage at the Coin-less Laundry on 134 E. Apache Blvd. He allegedly entered the establishment and began to remove customers' clothing from the washers and dryers and threw them to the floor. He also tore decoration from the walls.
A 34-year-old Scottsdale man was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 300 block of South McClintock Road. He reportedly parked his car in the road in front of a bus and prevented it from passing because his girlfriend got on it with their infant.
