On Saturday, there was a great package deal at Glendale Arena. For $25, you could get a ticket to the Coyotes' game against the Dallas Stars and admission to the ASU-UA matchup in the afternoon.
From a seat right up against the glass, I watched the Sun Devils beat up the Wildcats, 3-1. After killing some time at a Glendale Target store (there's not much to do out there ... yet), I donned a new Coyotes headband to keep my ears warm and slipped into my seat at a standing-room-only game.
The Coyotes ended up losing, and I had to sit next to some UA kids (Ewww...), but it still was a great time. Let's hope the Coyotes share their ice with Sun Devil Hockey more often.
