Police Beat: A DUI hat trick


Tempe police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

A 26-year-old Phoenix man was arrested on a charge of aggravated DUI near the 800 block of South Rural Road. A records check revealed that he had a warrant out for two counts of the same charge.

A 26-year-old Chandler man was arrested on a charge of urinating in public near the 2300 block of East Apache Boulevard. After he was involved in a verbal argument, the man allegedly urinated on a business sign.

A 21-year-old Tempe man was arrested on a charge of forgery near the 3200 block of South Mill Avenue. He was found in possession of forged and fraudulent checks belonging to Airpark Banner and Signs after trying to cash a check at a Bank of America location in a Fry's Food and Drug store. The man is not an employee of Airpark and had no relationship to the company.
