Three of ASU's business programs are among the best in the world, according to rankings released Monday by an international business newspaper.
Financial Times ranked the W.P. Carey School of Business doctoral program 21st in the world and its faculty research program 36th, according to an ASU press release.
"Faculty research and doctoral programs are international drivers of academic reputation, and we are pleased with our continued recognition in Financial Times," Dean Robert Mittelstaedt said in a press release.
Both programs made the newspaper's list last year as well.
The newspaper also ranked the W.P. Carey MBA program 72nd globally in 2006, a slight drop from last year, when the program placed 66th, according to the Financial Times Web site.
The 72nd global ranking makes the MBA program 44th in the United States.
Financial Times based its rankings of the leading business schools on international attributes, alumni satisfaction, placement success and the research productivity of the faculty, the ASU press release stated.
"Our steady placement in key rankings like this one indicates that our alumni recognize the powerful intellectual engine behind our programs," Mittelstaedt said.
