ASU police reported the following incidents Wednesday:
A 23-year-old Scottsdale man was reportedly assaulted Sunday night at Chili's, 801 S. Mill Ave. The victim was standing in the restaurant lobby when a man bumped into him, police said. The victim then called the suspect a profane name, police reported. When the victim sat down to dinner, the suspect and his brother reportedly sat down at the table as well. The suspect then allegedly pushed the victim with an open hand and left the restaurant with his brother.
A bicycle wheel belonging to a 32-year-old male ASU employee was reported stolen Tuesday morning at the Biodesign Building A-wing. The man reportedly locked his bike to a rack Friday morning. He returned two days later to find his front wheel missing, police said. Police have no leads at this time.
Tempe police reported the following incidents Wednesday:
A 19-year-old Chandler woman was arrested Tuesday evening on the 1200 block of West Grove Parkway and charged with burglary. The suspect allegedly stole several rings from the kitchen counter of an apartment. Police were able to identify the suspect because she reportedly left a message on the victim's answering machine saying, "The rings are not there. ... I pawned them. ... Get a life."
An 18-year-old transient woman was arrested Tuesday night at Lazy 8 Motel, 2158 E. Apache Blvd., and charged with indecent exposure. The suspect allegedly exposed her genitals to a man on April 12. The man was reportedly able to identify the woman because she was wearing the same clothes and hairstyle at the time of arrest as she was during the incident.
A 29-year old Tempe man was arrested Tuesday morning on the 6400 block of South College Avenue and charged with distribution and possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect allegedly attempted to send a box containing marijuana to Texas. The box was reportedly intercepted by police.
