Every year, Co-Curricular Programs & Activities sponsors this series of three lectures. Students nominate their favorite professors, and the winning three give talks that they prepare on whatever topic they choose, as if it were the last lesson they were ever going to teach. This is heavy stuff, but it's fun and entertaining too. And, of course, always educational. As part of the 11th Annual Last Lecture Series, history professor Matthew Whitaker will give his pseudo-final speech on "Understanding Interracial Unity." Pink Floyd Laser Spectacular

A friend's much older and wiser brother once forced me to listen to Dark Side of the Moon while he carted his pre-teen sister and me to the mall. Although I've never become a rainbow prism T-shirt wearing devotee, I must admit a Pink Floyd-inspired laser light show sounds pretty amazing. Dame Edna: Back with a Vengance!

If cross-dressers don't make you squeamish, they probably make you laugh -- and for some reason, cross-dressers with fake British accents seem to be the funniest of all. Dame Edna, also known as Australian actor Barry Humphries, has delighted audiences with her/his off-brand of humor for years. This is more than your typical comedy routine. Dame Edna sings, dances, does psychic readings and marriage counseling -- all in drag. She even has backup dancers, "The Gorgeous Ednaettes." It doesn't get any more entertaining than this, folks. S.T.E.P. Presents Culture Fusion Night

This is not your typical, boring cultural diversity fair. Students Toward Educational Progress, a multicultural honor society at ASU also known as S.T.E.P., is hosting this celebration with dances from around the world -- from the Underground Movement and the Hawaii and Pacific Islanders Club, to belly dance, Capoeira (check out our past coverage of this hot Brazilian dance at www.asuwebdevil.com), and CompEx Latin Dance. The party starts from 8:00 p.m. and lasts until 10:00 p.m. If you're feeling rowdy, stay for the Culture Fusion after party with DJ Cheeno until 12:00 a.m. It all takes place on campus at the Memorial Union Arizona Ballroom (Room 207).
