I just had my first test here. It was really hard but I did better than I thought I did. It has been a TON of studying lately, so I don't really have much to say or pictures to post. Tomorrow, I am going to hit up the Great Wall, so that should be cool.
I was studying in one of the classrooms here last night until about midnight. There were a few other students in there too and we started talking. Here in the international student dorms, people are from all over, so there were people from America, China, Korea, Niger and France all talking to each other in Chinese. It's so weird to have a different language be the lingua franca. Me, another person from my trip and someone from China and someone from Niger are going to go see X-Men when it comes out. I wonder if it will be in Chinese or English. I also had full-on conversations with my two professors who don't speak English. One of them called me an "ideal husband" based solely on the fact that I don't smoke or drink.
