ASU police reported the following incidents Friday:

A 20-year-old male ASU student reported his car stolen Wednesday morning at Lot 59.

The student parked his car at 7:30 a.m. and when he returned a half hour later, the car was gone, police reported.

He reportedly said the car was locked, but did not have an alarm.


An ASU employee reported his Palm Pilot docking station stolen Wednesday afternoon at Coor Hall.

He last saw his docking station in his office on Sept. 7 at 4 p.m., police reported.

When he returned the next morning, it was missing, the police said.

He assured police he locked his office on Thursday and nothing else was missing, police reported.



Tempe police reported the following incidents Thursday:

A 31-year-old Mesa woman was arrested at a Wal-Mart located at 1380 W. Elliot Road on charges of shoplifting.

The woman allegedly removed boneless chicken strips and ranch dressing sauce from a display and consumed them while in the store, police reported.

She attempted to exit without paying for the items, police said.

The estimated loss of the strips and dressing is $5.56.


A 43-year-old Phoenix man was arrested on the 2500 block of West Geneva Drive on charges of third-degree trespassing.

The man was observed "Dumpster diving" in a parking lot, police said.

There are "no trespassing" signs on the Dumpster and in the parking lot, police reported.


A 23-year-old Mesa man was arrested on the 1400 block of East Palmdale Drive on charges of possession of dangerous drugs.

A 23-year-old Tempe man was arrested at the same location on charges of possession of a narcotic drug.

An investigation revealed the Mesa man was in possession of ecstasy and the Tempe man was in possession of a half an OxyContin tablet, the police report stated.
