Parking decals back on sale
Students, faculty and staff can now upgrade their parking spots to Structures 4,
5 or 7.
ASU Parking and Transit Services is selling several hundred additional parking decals for these structures on a first-come, first-served basis, said Dave Argabright, PTS spokesman.
The number of available decals isn't set because they are already on sale,
he added.
New decals can be
purchased online at www.asu.edu/dps/pts or in the decal sales office at 525 S. Forest Ave. in the University
Towers. Current decal holders who want to upgrade must do so in person at the PTS office, Argabright said.
Decals are priced on a prorated basis, meaning the cost goes down as the year goes on. The base price is $480 for Structures 4 and 5 and $360 for Structure 7. The prorated amount will be a little less than the base price, Argabright said.
Decals purchased online can be picked up in the decal sales office, but take two to three business days to process, he added.
The extra decals are a fairly common thing this time of year because PTS monitors use of parking spaces to see which lots and structures can handle more cars, Argabright said.
