ASU police reported the
following incidents Friday:
An 18-year-old male ASU student reported his car stereo stolen Thursday afternoon in Lot 59 East.
The student reportedly last saw his car stereo on Sept. 25 at noon.
When he returned to his car at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, the driver's side door was opened and his stereo was missing, police reported.
There are no suspects or leads and the estimated loss is $100.
A 25-year-old male ASU student was arrested and charged with aggravated DUI, and a 22-year-old male ASU student was arrested and charged with permitting unlawful operation Sept. 5 at College Avenue and Curry Road.
Police released the report Wednesday.
The 25-year-old student was allegedly stopped for having expired registration tags at about 3:30 a.m.
He reportedly claimed the car belonged to a friend.
The officer reportedly smelled alcohol on the man's breath, and the man claimed to have had about one and a half drinks.
The man agreed to a preliminary breath test, and the officer asked him to remove the gum he was chewing in order to take the test, police reported.
The man reportedly recorded a blood-alcohol concentration of .089, just above Arizona's legal limit of .08.
A check revealed he had a prior DUI within the past five years, police reported.
At the station, he refused to take a blood test, but a judge granted a search warrant for the officer to draw the man's blood, police reported.
The 22-year-old student, who lent his car to the man, reportedly arrived at the station at 8:25 a.m. to pick him up.
The 22-year-old was then arrested and charged with permitting unlawful operation of a vehicle for lending his car with his registration expired, police reported.
Tempe police did not release reports Friday.
