ASU police reported the

following incidents Thursday:

A 23-year-old male ASU student reported arson Friday afternoon at Las Casas Residence Hall on west campus.

A Residential Life director said someone set fire to a picture hanging from a student's apartment door, police reported.

The picture was of a bodybuilder with a St. Louis Cardinal hat, police reported.

The Cardinals beat the Mets the night before.

The picture was intact as of 9 a.m. on Oct. 20, the student told police.

When the student returned at 2 p.m. the same day, he immediately smelled the odor of something burnt, police reported.

His door allegedly had burn marks and the picture was gone.

The student does not know who burnt his picture and there are no suspects at this time, police reported.


Tempe police reported the

following incidents Thursday:

A 19-year-old Phoenix woman was arrested Wednesday evening on the 2100 block of East University Drive on charges of prostitution.

The woman was allegedly picked up by a "customer" and negotiated for a sex act.

The man gave her $100, which was found on her, police reported.
