Tempe police reported the following incidents Wednesday:
A 33-year-old Tempe man was arrested Tuesday evening on the 1600 block of East Apache Boulevard on charges of criminal damage.
The man allegedly broke an ashtray during an argument with his fiancee.
A 22-year-old transient man was arrested Tuesday afternoon on the 4400 block of South Fair Lane on charges of vehicle theft and possession of dangerous drugs.
Police found the man allegedly sitting in a parked stolen vehicle.
He said an acquaintance asked him to drive the stolen vehicle, police reported.
A useable quantity of methamphetamines was reportedly found in his pants pocket.
A 19-year-old transient man was arrested Tuesday afternoon at Price Road and Rio Salado Parkway on charges of third-degree trespassing.
The man was panhandling and could not produce identification when asked, police reported.
He was warned for trespassing at the same location in August 2006 and given a verbal warning about trespassing two hours before this arrest.
An 18-year-old transient man was arrested Tuesday morning at True Value Homes, 2150 E. University Drive, on charges of second-degree criminal trespassing.
The man allegedly was found sleeping on the second floor of a model home under construction.
A 22-year-old Scottsdale man was arrested Wednesday morning on the 700 block of North Mill Avenue on charges of criminal speeding.
The man was driving westbound on Curry Road, which has three 25 mph signs within a quarter of a mile, police reported.
Police allegedly clocked him driving 70 mph.
He had no driver's license or identification and no proof of insurance on the vehicle, police reported.
