ASU police reported the following incidents Friday:
An 18-year-old female ASU student reported her car burglarized Thursday evening at parking Structure 5.
She reportedly parked her car on the southeast side of the third level of the structure Wednesday night.
When she returned Thursday night, her car's driver-side window was shattered and her Pioneer single-deck stereo, five compact discs and a tire gauge were missing, police reported.
The estimated loss is about $450.
A 19-year-old female ASU student reported a vehicle accident Wednesday evening at the Student Services Building.
The student, working as a safety escort and driving an ASU golf cart, reportedly backed into a parked ASU golf cart.
The estimated damage to both vehicles is about $40.
Tempe police reported the following incidents Friday:
A 53-year-old Tempe man was arrested Thursday evening at Fry's Shopping Plaza, 3232 S. Mill Ave., on charges of second-degree criminal trespassing.
The man was arrested for allegedly trespassing in the store after being warned not to twice last week, police reported.
He reportedly admitted to knowing he was not allowed in the store.
When asked by police why he returned to the store, he allegedly said he had no explanation.
Two Tempe women, ages 26 and 30, were arrested Thursday morning on the 4900 block of South Calle Los Cerros Drive on charges of theft.
The women ate meals at Denny's, 1994 W. Baseline Road., and left the restaurant at about 5 a.m. without paying, police reported.
A 46-year-old transient man was arrested Friday morning at Tempe St. Luke's Hospital, 1500 S. Mill Ave., on charges of aggravated assault.
The man, who was being treated at the hospital allegedly punched at a nurse with both hands.
The man then removed his intravenous line from his left forearm and "flicked" the needle at the victim, causing several drops of
blood to land on his left
cheek and shirt, police reported.
