ASU police reported the following incidents Thursday:
A 19-year-old male ASU student was arrested Tuesday evening at Best Hall on charges of criminal damage.
Two Best Hall roommates said someone threw an orange through their window, breaking the window, police reported.
The orange reportedly almost hit one of the roommates who was standing next to the window at the time, police reported.
A student allegedly admitted throwing the orange, the police report stated.
He said he was attempting to get the attention of the roommates, but did not mean to throw the orange through the window and offered to pay to replace it, police reported.
The cost of a new window is about $150.
Tempe police reported the following incidents Thursday:
A 19-year-old male ASU student was arrested Wednesday afternoon on the 1800 block of East Hayden Lane on charges of transportation of marijuana for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The man allegedly shipped a package containing marijuana to himself from California.
Police allegedly found several items of drug paraphernalia and a receipt for the package in his house.
A 26-year-old Chandler man was arrested Wednesday morning near Sixth and Maple streets on charges of third-degree trespassing and criminal damage.
The man allegedly was seen "removing" a vehicle's rear, driver's side window, entering the vehicle and sitting in the driver's seat.
The car reportedly did not belong to him and he was transported to Tempe City Jail.
A 20-year-old Gilbert man was arrested Wednesday morning on the 3700 block of South Mill Avenue on charges of possession of marijuana.
The man was approached by a security guard and consented to a search, police reported.
He allegedly admitted to having a "BB gun" and marijuana, police reported.
He was transported and booked into Tempe City Jail.
