ASU police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

A female ASU student reported second-degree trespassing on Monday evening at the Memorial Union.

She said one of the MU staffers noticed the door to the roof was propped open with a plastic water bottle, police reported.

She reportedly noticed a man run down a hallway on the second floor and exit through a door on the north side.

She followed the man, opened the door, made eye contact and yelled, "Hey," police reported.

He allegedly ran down the stairwell to the first floor and exited out the door.

The man reportedly was white with black hair, wearing a black shirt, black pants and black shoes.

The lock to the roof door allegedly was found on the ground where the man exited the building.

A Starbucks employee reported third-degree burglary on Sunday morning at Palo Verde East.

When she arrived at work at about 9:30 a.m., the employee noticed the cash register drawer containing $300 was missing.

The wire connected to the drawer was allegedly cut and the drawer was taken.

She reportedly said the Starbucks was closed on Nov. 22 for the holiday weekend.

She allegedly suspects employees could have been involved because they know $300 is left in the drawer, police reported.

The tip jar next to the cash drawer was filled with money and left untouched, police reported.

The case is pending and surveillance footage may be available.

Tempe police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

A 47-year-old Phoenix man was arrested Monday morning at Safeway, 926 E. Broadway Road, on charges of shoplifting and possession of marijuana.

The man left the store with four bottles of Axe shower gel without paying for them, police reported.

Police reportedly found a marijuana cigarette in a Marlboro cigarette box located in his front pocket.

A 28-year-old transient man was arrested Monday afternoon on the 1800 block of East Warner Road on charges of extreme DUI and disorderly conduct.

The man honked his horn at another driver, a woman with her 12-year-old son, while both were stopped at a red light, police reported.

Once the light turned green, he allegedly almost hit another car while attempting to keep up with the woman.

When she pulled into a parking lot to get away from him, he reportedly followed her.

He drove circles around her car and blew his horn, while she sat in her parked car, police reported.

When police arrived, he was given a field sobriety test and reportedly blew a .261 and .254 BAC.
