ASU police reported the following incidents Friday:
A 21-year-old female ASU student reported a burglary Thursday afternoon at Lot 59 East.
The student reportedly parked her car at about 8:45 a.m. and locked all of her doors.
When she returned at about 12:15 p.m., her car stereo and CDs were stolen, police reported.
There allegedly were no signs of forced entry and no damage to the car.
The estimated loss is about $765.
A 20-year-old female ASU student reported a burglary Wednesday evening at Lot 59 East.
The student reportedly parked her truck at about 9:30 a.m. When she returned at about 2:30 p.m., her passenger-side door handle had been pried open and her Pioneer stereo was stolen, police reported.
The estimated loss is about $500.
A 19-year-old female ASU student reported criminal damage Thursday afternoon at Lot 19 at ASU's West campus.
The student allegedly parked her car in the lot on Nov. 29 at about 1 p.m.
When she returned to her car at about 6 p.m., she noticed several scratches running the length of her car on the passenger side and one scratch running along the driver side, police reported.
The estimated damage is about $200.
Tempe police reported the following incidents Thursday:
A 24-year-old transient man was arrested Wednesday evening on the 5600 block of South Bounty Court on charges of first-degree trespassing and criminal damage.
The man allegedly used methamphetamines and became scared that people were chasing him.
He then jumped on top of a resident's roof, broke a portion of it and left for another residence, police reported.
He reportedly jumped onto a patio brick wall, kicked in a bedroom window and fell into the fenced patio area.
The property damage is estimated to be $200.
A 39-year-old Guadalupe man was arrested Wednesday evening on the 5600 block of East Calle Magdalena on charges of attempted robbery.
The man allegedly entered a Circle K, 222 E. Baseline Road, and asked for two packs of Marlboro Red cigarettes.
He then reportedly set a note on the counter for the clerk.
The note said a rifle is pointed at the clerk's head and told him to put money in the bag so no one would be shot, police reported.
The clerk reached for the phone to call the police and the man ran out of the store leaving behind the note, but taking the two packs of cigarettes, police reported.
A 28-year-old Tonalea, Ariz., man was arrested Thursday morning on the 1000 block of East Apache Boulevard on charges of false reporting to police.
The man allegedly gave six different names and dates of birth in various combinations over a 15-minute time span.
A 36-year-old transient man was arrested Wednesday morning on the 1300 block of South Cedar Street on charges of domestic violence.
The man allegedly struck his stepfather 20 to 30 times with his hand.
