ASU Police reported the following incidents Friday:

A 22-year-old male ASU student was arrested at Apache Boulevard and Una-Butte Avenue and charged with driving under the influence and extreme DUI.

He was continuously off balance and speaking incoherently, police reported.

He had bloodshot, watery eyes and breath that smelled like an intoxicating beverage, according to the report.

The student said he only had one beer but was unable to perform the field sobriety tests, according to the report.

He was transported to the ASU Police Department and released after police had taken a blood sample and processed the case, police reported.



An 18-year-old male ASU student was arrested on an ASU Police Department warrant for failure to appear in court.

The student arrived in the ASUPD office to speak with an officer about an ongoing case involving his roommate, police reported.

He was arrested and taken to the ASUPD booking room, where he was processed, police reported.

Police located an expired New York driver's license in the man's pocket, which he claimed belonged to his sister's boyfriend, according to the report.

The license was impounded for destruction, and the student was released on bond, police reported.



Tempe Police reported the following incidents Friday:

An 18-year-old Phoenix woman was arrested and charged with assault on the 700 block of North Mill Avenue.

Police investigation revealed that the woman hit and kicked the victim along with several of her friends, police reported.

She admitted to striking the victim even as she was falling down, according to the report.

She was booked into Tempe City Jail, police reported.



A 24-year-old Glendale man was arrested on charges of theft of means of transportation, fraud schemes and trafficking stolen property at the intersection of McClintock Drive and McKellips Road.

He attempted to sell a stolen Acura SUV for $15,000, police reported.

The vehicle's original license plate had been removed and replaced with a fictitious three-day temporary plate, according to the report.

The man tried to sell the vehicle to a man who had flown in from California after seeing an ad for the vehicle on craigslist.com, police reported.

The man was arrested and booked into Tempe City Jail, police reported.



A 26-year-old Tempe man was arrested on the 8000 block of South Hardy Drive on one count of possession of narcotic drugs and six counts of theft.

Investigation revealed that the man had stolen prescription drugs from sealed packages, according to the report.

He was also found to be in possession of narcotics, which police believed to be oxycodene, police reported.

The man was transported for booking and cited for theft, police reported.

He can be released pending the narcotics charge, according to the report.
