ASU police reported the following incidents:

  • A 29-year-old male ASU student reported a theft inside a restroom at the Life Science A Wing building in the afternoon of June 27.

    The man set his backpack and laptop on the ground outside a bathroom stall and while using the stall, he heard someone enter the restroom, use the urinal, wash his hands and leave, according to the police report.

    Once he left the stall, he noticed his laptop was missing, police reported.

    The estimated loss is $1,400.

  • A 31-year-old man reported a theft at Karsten Golf Course in the morning of June 27.

    The man reported about $250 of copper sheeting was stolen from the roof of the restroom near the 18th hole between 8:49 p.m. June 26 and 3:43 a.m. June 27.

    About $8,000 in copper sheeting was stolen from the same restroom last week.

    The case is pending.

  • A 24-year-old male ASU student reported a burglary at Parking Structure No. 5 in the afternoon of June 27.

    He parked and locked his car on the second level of the parking structure at 5 p.m. on June 26, according to the police report.

    The next day, he found his left rear window was broken and his set of Calloway Big Bertha golf clubs and Green Bay Packers' golf bag were stolen from the car, police reported.

    The estimated total loss of the loss of the window, golf clubs and bag is $1,500.

    There are no suspects or leads.

Tempe police reported the following incidents:

  • A 22-year-old Phoenix man was arrested in the afternoon of June 27 on the 9000 block of S. Kyrene Road on charges of theft.

    The man reportedly stole about $12,000 of kitchen appliances from a warehouse located at 9025 S. Kyrene Road.

    The stolen appliances were supposed to be delivered to a new construction work site in Scottsdale, police reported.

  • A 37-year-old Tempe man was arrested in the afternoon of June 27 on the 800 block of S. Wilson St. on charges of theft and trafficking stolen property.

    The man reportedly attempted to sell a stolen bike on Craig's List.

    The bike was originally stolen from ASU's campus, but the man claimed he bought the bike from an unknown subject in North Phoenix, police reported.

    He was arrested and transported to Tempe City Jail.

  • A 39-year-old transient man was arrested in the afternoon of June 26 on the 4900 block of Calle Los Cerros Drive on charges of shoplifting.

    The man reportedly pushed a 40" SONY LCD Big Screen TV out the emergency exit door at Fry's Electronics, 2300 W. Baseline Road, without paying for it.

    The television retailed for about $2,800.
