ASU police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

  • Between 12 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday an unknown person or people criminally damaged an 18-year-old female student’s car, police reported.

    The vehicle was parked on the second level of the Vista del Sol parking structure, according to the police report.

    The estimated damage to the vehicle is $400, police reported.

    There are no leads, suspects or witnesses at this time, according to the police report.

  • Between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. Sunday an unknown suspect or suspects damaged the stairwell of the Hassayampa Academic Village H-Wing, police reported.

    The damage was large and racially-oriented graffiti, according to the police report.

    There are no leads, suspects or witnesses at this time, according to the police report.

  • Between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 5 p.m. Thursday an unknown person or people criminally damaged an 18-year-old male student’s car, police reported.

    The vehicle was parked in the Rural Road Parking Structure, according to the police report.

    The damage included the ‘keying’ of both front fenders, the doors and rear fenders, police reported.

    The total estimate of the damage is unknown, according to the police report.

    There are no leads, suspects or witnesses at this time, police reported.

  • Between 5 and 5:45 a.m. Sunday an unknown suspect or suspects removed the ASU card scanner from a wall at Adelphi Commons, police reported.

    The scanner was removed from the northeast side of the complex, according to the police report.

    The damage is estimated to be $100, police reported.

    There are no leads, suspects or witnesses at this time, according to the report.

Tempe police reported the following incident Tuesday:

  • A 24-year-old Tempe man was arrested on suspicion of trafficking stolen property, second-degree burglary and possessing stolen property, police reported.

    The man was apprehended on the 1800 block of East Broadway Road, according to the police report.

    Police found the man hiding underneath a shower curtain in a bathroom during a search of an apartment after investigation revealed he was involved in a burglary on the 1100 block of East Alameda Drive, police reported.

    The suspect later admitted to having and selling property he knew to be stolen, according to the police report.

    He was transported and booked into the Tempe City Jail and held to see a judge, police reported.
