ASU police reported the following incidents Thursday:
- Between 1 a.m. on Oct. 16 and 1 a.m. on Oct. 23, an unknown suspect or suspects committed criminal damage to the College of Design North, according to police reports.
The suspect or suspects spray-painted graffiti on the west side of the Tempe campus building, police reported.
The estimated loss is $100 and there are no suspects, leads or witnesses at this time, according to police.
- Between 1 a.m. on Oct. 16 and 1 a.m. on Oct. 23, an unknown suspect or suspects criminally damaged an exterior wall of Tower Center on the Tempe campus, police reported.
The suspect or suspects wrote graffiti on the east wall of the building, according to police reports.
Estimated loss is $100, and there are no suspects, leads witnesses at this time, according to police.
- An 18-year-old male student was arrested early Wednesday morning at Hassayampa Academic Village on suspicion of underage consumption of alcohol and being a public nuisance, according to police reports.
The student was taken to police headquarters, and while in custody, he repeatedly spit on police vehicles, equipment and property, police reported.
The student was booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail, according to police.
Tempe police reported the following incidents Thursday:
- A 20-year-old Tempe man was arrested Monday on suspicion of possession of marijuana, according to police reports.
Police stopped the man as he was driving near Rural Road and Hermosa Drive after a records check revealed he was driving on a suspended license and had an outstanding Gilbert warrant for alleged possession of prescription drugs, police reported.
A K-9 search of the man's vehicle revealed two bags containing a usable quantity of marijuana, according to police. One bag was found in the center console of the car, and another was found in the side of the door beneath the window switch, police said.
The man was taken to Tempe City Jail and released pending charges, according to police.
- A 33-year-old Tempe man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, police reported.
Police said they contacted the man on the 2200 block of South McClintock Drive and that he consented to a search. The search revealed he had two glass pipes with residue in his pocket and in a duffle bag, according to police reports.
The man then admitted to having a small plastic bag that contained a white crystal-like substance, police reported.
The man told police the substance was methamphetamine, and the pipes were used to smoke it, according to police.
He was taken to Tempe City Jail and released pending charges, according to the police report.,/ul>
