Why are you running for office/reelection?
I am seeking reelection.
What experience qualifies you for the position?
I have experience in the corporate, political and non-profit arenas. This has helped me to shape policy for all Arizonans, utilizing many resources from these arenas to better the quality of life for individuals.
What do you think is the most important issue of the election?
Having the Democrats taking over the House in the state of Arizona.
If elected, what would you want your relationship with ASU to be?
I currently sit on the higher education committee in the House. I have an open door policy with ASU and the lobbyist who represent them. I am always open to new ideas from the University and to help fulfill their goals for the future.
Why should ASU students want to elect you?
I have a record of consistently supporting ASU’s agenda and a voting recording to back it up.
What is the No. 1 change you want to see in your district?
To have more high school students from my district attend college.
What would your contributions to the community be?
I currently sit on five boards, which cover domestic violence, autism and leadership.
