ASU police reported the following incidents Monday:

  • Between 11:30 and 11:45 a.m. Tuesday an unknown suspect or suspects committed burglary and theft on the Tempe campus, police reported.

    The person or persons unlawfully entered the unlocked office of a 37-year-old female ASU employee in the Physical Sciences E-Wing building and removed personal property, according to the police report.

    The total estimated loss is $300, police reported.

    There are no leads, suspects or witnesses at this time, according to the police report.

  • A 19-year-old female ASU student was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of being in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police reported.

    The student was arrested at her residence in Manzanita Hall on the Tempe campus, according to the police report.

    The student was also cited for being an underage person with alcohol in body, police reported.

    The suspect was released from the ASU police station pending review of the charges by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, according to the police report.

  • A 19-year-old male ASU student and a 20-year-old male ASU student were arrested Nov. 17 on suspicion of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police reported.

    The students were arrested in the stadium Parking Structure on the Tempe campus, according to the police report.

    Both students were released from the ASU Police Station pending review of their charges by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, police reported.

  • Between 5 and 5:20 p.m. an unknown suspect or suspects unlawfully entered a Manzanita Hall room on the Tempe campus and removed two laptop computers, police reported.

    The computers belonged to two 18-year-old female ASU students, according to the police report.

    The total estimated loss is $3,200, police reported.

    There are no leads, suspects or witnesses at this time, according to the police report.

Tempe police reported the following incident Monday:

  • A 45-year-old Tempe man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of disorderly conduct, criminal damage and public urination, police reported.

    The man was arrested on the 400 block of West Baseline Road, according to the police report.

    Investigation revealed that the suspect arrived at his girlfriend’s residence and urinated in the side yard, upsetting the woman, police reported.

    He then threw a large rock through the woman’s trailer and then pelted a plastic lawn chair, breaking it into two pieces, according to the report.

    The woman called the police and the suspect was transported to Tempe City Jail where he was booked and held to see a judge, police reported.

    After further investigation, police found the man gave the arresting officer a false name, and he was arrested on suspicion of false reporting to law enforcement, according to the police report.
