Tempe police reported the following incidents Sunday:

  • A 21-year-old Tempe man was arrested Friday on suspicion of possessing marijuana and dangerous drugs, police reported.

    The man was arrested on the 1200 block of East University Drive after a police officer saw him with marijuana, according to the police report.

    A search revealed 16 pills believed to be Ecstasy, police reported.

    The man was transported to Tempe City Jail, booked and released pending charges.

  • A 24-year-old Phoenix man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of marijuana possession with an intent to sell and possession of other dangerous drugs, police reported.

    Police stopped the man after he failed to stop after exiting a private driveway near South Priest Drive and West Warner Road, according to the police report.

    A K-9 unit alerted an officer to the vehicle, and a search revealed a usable quantity of marijuana in the center console of the vehicle. The man also had small bags often used to package drugs for sale, police reported.

    The man admitted to selling marijuana, according to the police report.

    He was transported to Tempe City Jail, booked and released pending charges.

  • A 26-year-old Tempe woman was arrested Thursday on suspicion of of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police reported.

    Police stopped the woman for a traffic violation after she made a wide right turn near West Baseline Road and South Hardy Drive, according to the police report.

    The arresting officer smelled marijuana coming from inside the vehicle, police reported. When the officer questioned the woman, she admitted to having marijuana and removed a usable quantity from her purse, police reported.

    The woman also gave the officer a small glass pipe used to smoke marijuana, according to the police report.

    The woman was transported to Tempe City Jail, booked and released pending charges.
