Tempe police reported the following incidents Monday:

  • A 19-year-old man was arrested Monday on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

    The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. near South Mill Avenue and East Fifth Street in Tempe, according to police reports.

    The suspect was found smoking marijuana from a glass pipe with two other people at the walkway outside of Tempe City Hall, according to a police report.

    He was transported and booked into Tempe City Jail and released pending charges, police reported.

  • An 18-year-old man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of trespassing into a home on the 1200 block of East Laguna Drive in Tempe, according to a police report.

    Police arrived just before 1 a.m. to find the suspect in the walled backyard, police reported.

    He then attempted to enter the “Arizona room” of the victim’s house, according to the report.

    The man was booked into Tempe City Jail on one count of first-degree trespass, and was held to see a judge, police reported.

  • A 20-year-old woman was arrested Saturday on suspicion of marijuana possession and misconduct with a weapon at the 800 block of South Mill Avenue, police reported.

    The woman was stopped by officers and questioned about subjects selling marijuana on the 800 block of Mill Avenue, according to police reports.

    The woman consented to have police search her purse where they found marijuana and a butterfly knife, according to a police report.

    The woman was taken to Tempe City Jail where she was released pending marijuana and misconduct with weapons charges, police reported.
