This Sunday, America will enjoy a few hours of escapism from economic woes while watching our favorite billionaires walk a red carpet in designer duds and be awarded miniature golden statues.
Hugh Jackman will host this year’s Academy Awards Ceremony at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, which will be broadcast live on ABC starting at 6:30 p.m. (Last year’s host Jon Stewart is reportedly not very happy about this.)
This year, members of The State Press Editorial Board made predictions of which names will be called when those envelopes are opened.
So now, the votes are tallied, the nominees are announced, the red carpet is ready to go.
