A 40-year-old man was arrested just after 2 p.m. on Friday when police ran his record and discovered he had a warrant for parole violation, according to a police report.

The man was in possession of property items that were identified as the stolen items from a recent burglary on University Drive in Tempe, according to the report.

Further investigation revealed the man was living unlawfully in an apartment complex in Tempe, police reported.

The man was identified in a photo line-up by a victim who was robbed in early May, according to the report.

The man admitted to the burglary and is now being held on the warrant, police reported.

A 24-year-old man was arrested just before 2 p.m. on Friday after being pulled over on Southern Avenue in Tempe, police reported.

Investigation revealed that the man was driving the vehicle with a suspended license, according to a police report.

Upon searching the car, police found a usable quantity of marijuana, according to the report.

He was arrested, booked and released pending drug charges, police reported.

A 36-year-old man was arrested around noon on Friday on suspicion of drug and drug paraphernalia possession.

He was stopped because of a traffic violation on University Drive, police reported. When police searched the man and his bike, they found a bag of methamphetamine and a glass vile with methamphetamine residue, according to the police report.

The man was taken to Tempe City Jail for booking and will face drug charges, police reported.

A 23-year-old woman was arrested on Friday around 10 a.m. after police received a phone call, claiming she had a warrant and could be found on Mill Avenue, police reported.

Police approached the woman and confirmed that she had a warrant for possession of marijuana, according to a police report.

The woman was booked into Tempe City Jail and held to see a judge, police reported.

A 32-year-old man was arrested around 2 p.m. on Tuesday when investigation revealed he had outstanding MCSO felony warrants, police reported.

Police had originally been contacted about the welfare of the man and his girlfriend’s 5-month-old son, according to a police report.

The call stated that the baby boy had been living outside with the pair for a long period of time, according to the report.

The condition of the son was looked into and the police report stated the baby was in fine condition, police reported.

The man went to Tempe City Jail for booking and was held to see a judge.
