Tempe Police reported the following incidents Sunday:
A 21-year-old Tempe woman was arrested just after noon on Friday after investigation revealed she had been stealing from a cash drawer at her place of employment for several months, according to a police report.
The woman worked at Tru-West Bank in Tempe and admitted to taking approximately $7,500 in cash to pay her bills, police reported.
She was booked and released with pending charges.
A 22-year-old Phoenix woman was arrested Friday around 7 p.m. on suspicion of trespassing, police reported.
The woman broke into the front door of her son’s father’s house and then proceeded to break into the bedroom, where her son was located, according to a police report.
She then took her soon and fled the scene to her home in Phoenix, according to the report.
The woman was arrested, booked and held to see a judge.
A man was arrested just after midnight on Friday after he stabbed his girlfriend in the head with a dinner fork, according to a police report.
The man then strangled her, causing her to fall to the ground and break her right ankle, police reported.
He was taken to Tempe City Jail, booked and held to see a judge.
A 42-year-old Chandler man was arrested just before 4 a.m. on Thursday after being pulled over for a traffic violation, according to a police report.
Police investigated the car and found a bag of methamphetamine, a pipe and a syringe in the passenger foot well, according to the report.
He was booked and released pending charges.
A 35-year-old male was arrested around 3 p.m. Friday after investigation revealed he had broken into his father’s home, according to a police report.
The man entered through the window once on July 8, fled the scene and returned at a later hour, where his father witnessed the break in, according to a police report.
The man admitted to trespassing, according to the report.
He was booked into Tempe City Jail.
