Tempe Police reported the following incidents
Sunday:
A 21-year-old woman was arrested Thursday around 10 p.m. after being observed recklessly driving along Mill Avenue, police reported.
She was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving, having an open alcohol container in vehicle and possessing marijuana, according to a police report.
The woman was pulled over after she was seen weaving in and out of numerous lanes, once almost traveling onto the sidewalk where some 40 people were standing, according to the report.
After pulling her over, police found the woman had a Bud Light can in her cup holder, along with a usable amount of marijuana, police reported.
She was arrested, booked and held to see a judge for the open container and reckless driving, according to the report.
A 36-year-old Tempe man was arrested Thursday at 10 a.m. after admitting to ownership of files that sexually exploited minors, police reported.
Upon investigation, police found multiple files on the external hard drive of his computer, according to a police report.
The man was charged with sexual exploitation of minors, according to the report.
The man was booked to Tempe City Jail and held to see a judge, police reported.
A Phoenix man was arrested around 1 a.m. on Thursday after a witness observed him and two other men burglarizing a vehicle.
He was charged with burglary, possession of burglary tools, possession of dangerous drugs, and trespassing in the third degree, the police report stated.
The man was stopped by police but quickly ran away, leading them on a short foot pursuit. When they reached him, police found a hydraulic jack and a small pack of methamphetamine in his pocket.
He was booked to Tempe City Jail.
A 28-year-old Mesa man was arrested Thursday just before 11 p.m. on suspicion of possession of marijuana, police reported.
The man was stopped for a traffic violation and when police asked, he admitted he was in possession of the drug, according to a police report.
The marijuana was found in the left shoe of the passenger, police reported.
The man was booked and released pending charges, according to the report.
A 28-year-old Tempe man was arrested around 9 p.m. Wednesday on suspicion of armed burglary, police reported.
The man entered the victim’s home, held him at gunpoint and ordered him to get on the ground, according to a police report.
When the victim did not do so, the man hit him repeatedly, stole his two laptops and his wallet, according to the report.
He was booked into Tempe City Jail, police reported.
A 20-year-old Tempe woman was arrested Tuesday around 11:30 a.m. on suspicion of theft of a credit card, police reported.
Investigation revealed that the woman, on two different occasions, with two different credit cards, purchased $50 worth of food from Pizza Hut, according to a police report.
Neither victim of the theft knew the woman, police reported.
She was booked into Tempe City Jail and held to see a judge on an outstanding warrant, according to the report.
A 41-year-old Tempe man was arrested Tuesday just before midnight when he was located at a bus stop by a detention officer, police reported.
Investigation revealed the man had stolen a 12-pack of Smirnoff, a 40-ounce bottle of Smirnoff and some Slim Jims, according to a police report.
The detention officer found him near the location of the theft, and when he asked the man to get into the transporting vehicle, he refused and spat in the officer’s face, police reported.
He was booked to Tempe City Jail and held to see a judge, according to the report.
