ASU Police reported the following incidents Wednesday:

  • An unknown person or persons reportedly damaged a restroom in the Student Recreation Complex on the Tempe campus on Tuesday, police reported.

    The person or persons defaced a urinal partition and a toilet paper dispenser. The total estimated damage is unknown, according to a police report.

  • A 21-year-old man was arrested Friday on suspicion of extreme DUI and possessing a fictitious driver’s license, police reported.

    The man, who had a 20-year-old female passenger in the car, was stopped for a traffic violation near North Scottsdale Road and East Playa del Norte Drive in Tempe, according to a police report.

    The driver’s blood-alcohol content was .20, police reported.

    The woman was arrested on suspicion of being a minor with alcohol in the body, police reported.

    Both people were cited and released, according to a report.

  • An 18-year-old woman was arrested Friday on suspicion of being under 21 with alcohol in the body, police reported.

    The woman was apprehended on the 1300 block of South Sunset Drive in Tempe, according to a police report.

  • An unknown person or persons stole the backpack belonging to a 19-year-old ASU student on Friday, police reported

    The backpack was reportedly stolen from the atrium in the Social Sciences Building on the Tempe campus, according to a police report.

    The total estimated loss was $1,815, police reported.

  • An 18-year-old man was arrested Oct. 6 on suspicion of third-degree trespassing on the Tempe campus, police reported.

    The man reportedly entered a courtyard inside Hassayampa Phase I and was apprehended and taken to the ASU Police station, according to a police report.

    He was cited and released, police reported.

  • An unknown person or persons stole the laptop of a 21-year-old student on Oct. 1 on the Tempe campus, police reported.

    The computer was taken from the Engineering Center, according to a police report

    There are no leads, suspects or witnesses but a video camera in the room may have recorded the theft, police reported.

    The total estimated loss is $850, police reported.
