EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

I am extremely disappointed in the State Press Opinion Editor in [her] process to accept and limit the various letters to the editor. There has been an unbelievable amount of bias in the decisions to cut out portions of letters that are extremely important to many students on this campus.

As heated of a topic as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, it would seem that the most proper resolution would be to allow for both sides to be heard in the State Press.

Recently, I have noticed that the anti-Israel community on ASU’s campus is being heard through the different mediums of the school newspaper, and I believe it is unacceptable. Many of these arguments are based on U.N. Resolutions; from which I don’t believe can be fair assumptions considering [its] most recent resolution made it OK for countries across the world to murder homosexuals for the mere fact that they are homosexual. Are you kidding?

How in the world could we trust all of our arguments on a “United Nations” that does not provide protection for all?

I just hope that the editor sees that this topic is extremely important and ceases to stop the pro-Israel community's facts from being heard.
