In case you haven’t heard, Blake Griffin dunked over a car.

That right there tells you how awesome the 2011 NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest was.

This year’s contest topped last year’s by far in terms of entertainment.

I’ll say it again. Blake Griffin dunked over a car.

Amazingly enough it was the first time in NBA history that anyone thought of and actually pulled off dunking over a car in the Slam Dunk Contest.

Baron Davis lobbed Griffin the perfect pass from the KIA’s sunroof as Griffin jumped over the hood of the car for the dunk.

The only way to make that cooler would have been to jump over the tallest part of the car.

And Griffin wasn’t the only one to pull off some new tricks in this year’s contest.

JaVale McGee placed two baskets next to each other and dunked on both of them with two separate balls. He lobbed one ball off the backboard of one hoop to dunk it on the other.

McGee then topped himself in the next round by dunking with three balls.

If you didn’t watch this year’s contest, you really missed out, so make sure to check out the highlights.
