ASU redshirt senior guard Dymond Simon was named to the All-Pac-10 team when the conference announced its regular-season awards on Tuesday. The awards are based on voting by the Pac-10 coaches.
Simon led the Sun Devils in scoring for the regular season, averaging 13.8 points and 2.6 assists a game. It was her second time as a Pac-10 honoree. Last season Simon garnered All-Pac-10 second team honors.
Senior forward Becca Tobin and junior forward Kimberly Brandon were honorable mentions, and senior guard Tenaya Watson was an honorable mention for the All-Pac-10 defensive team.
Stanford senior Jeanette Pohlen was given Player of the Year honors, and UA senior Ify Ibekwe was named Defensive Player of the year.
