ASU Police reported the following incidents Monday:
- A 19-year-old male ASU student was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and being under 21 in possession of alcohol at Palo Verde East on ASU’s Tempe campus at approximately 9:45 p.m. Sunday, according to a police report.
The man voluntarily turned over about .72 grams of marijuana that were in a locked cabinet of his dresser in his dorm room, police reported.
He also had a 1.75 liter bottle of Bacardi rum in his refrigerator, according to the report.
The student was transported to the ASU Police Station, where he was processed and released, police reported.
- An unknown person or persons committed theft from the Rural Road Parking Structure on the Tempe campus between 4:30 p.m. Friday and 4:30 p.m. Saturday, according to a police report.
The person or persons stole a spare tire from the trunk of a vehicle parked in the structure, police reported.
The total estimated loss is $100, according to the report.
There are no witnesses, suspects or leads, police reported.
- An unknown person or persons committed third-degree burglary from the Rural Road Parking Structure on the Tempe campus between 2 p.m. Wednesday and 4 p.m. Thursday, according to a police report.
The person or persons broke the front passenger side window in order to gain entry into the vehicle and stole an XM satellite radio receiver, police reported.
The total estimated loss is $300, according to the report.
- An unknown person or persons committed third-degree burglary from the Rural Road Parking Structure on the Tempe campus between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30 p.m. Thursday, according to a police report.
The person or persons broke out the back driver’s side window and attempted to remove the stereo inside, police reported.
The total estimated damage is $300, according to the report.
There are no witnesses, leads or suspects at this time, police reported.
- An unknown person or persons committed second-degree burglary at Palo Verde Main on the Tempe campus between the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. Thursday, according to a police report.
The person or persons stole a laptop from a dorm room in the building, police reported.
The total estimated loss is $1,200, according to the report.
