AN UNPRESIDENTIAL PRESIDENT
(In response to Will Munsil’s Aug. 30 column, “Why the Republicans still might lose to Obama.”)
It is not “unlikely” that the economy will still not have recovered significantly by November 2012. It is a virtual certainty due to Obama’s bad policies.
Since Obama took office, his constant class-warfare “soak-the-rich” rhetoric, and his piling up of huge financial burdens for others to bear have stifled investment and job creation in the business community.
Note to Obama: Most businesses already pay more than “their fair share.” Unless, of course, you are talking about big Obama donors, like corporate giant GE, which posted billions in profits and paid zero in taxes last year.
This was all thanks to all the loopholes and tax breaks written into law specifically for them by the Obama administration.
Even Obama doesn’t believe his own rhetoric.
He’s a phony. He never had a clue what to do as president, handing over the keys to the likes of Timothy Geithner, Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi — the very people who helped get us into this mess in the first place.
He has not led. He has not united. He has divided. All he knows is how to continually campaign for office and mock his political opponents.
I find it hilarious that Mr. Munsil complains that the Republican “candidates can be presidential contenders without being presidential.”
My question to him is why not? Obama is president without being presidential.
