Spoiler Alert: If you were not at the live taping of Comedy Central’s “Tosh.0” Thursday night in Gammage, you may not want to continue reading. Then you can view this episode not knowing what to expect when it airs next week.

If you continue reading because you’re just too excited or really want the inside scoop, just remember: You’ve been warned.

During the third season of his hit show, “Tosh.0,” comedian Daniel Tosh announced ASU had won his “College Campus Invasion” contest — despite the fact that there were no video submissions vying for his presence on our behalf.

“We feel the need to win you over,” Tosh posted on his blog.

Tosh reassured the audience that there really weren’t any ASU submissions, but jokingly admitted that the fact that “it was close to LA” was reasoning enough for him.

Despite his justification, hundreds of students, many who had admitted to ditching class via Twitter and Facebook, lined up with their vouchers in hand to attend one of two free tapings.

Tickets were in such high demand that students began attempting to sell their seats on the “Tosh.0 Live Taping At ASU” Facebook event wall.

Fortunately, this event was fairly organized with lines, security, and free water. (Lupe) Fiasco averted.

The real fun began when Tosh performed a short stand-up bit to hype up the crowd, which had every seat filled in ASU Gammage.

Everyone was curious to know what his featured wardrobe would be. From deep v-necks, cardigans, and collared shirts, it seemed he had already worn it all, leaving him to go topless for the entire next season.

Instead, he was fully clothed, donning an ASU t-shirt as he revealed that collegiate apparel would be his next thing.

The taping was full of other surprises, too. Grammy-nominated singer Skylar Grey, made a special guest appearance for the Web Redemption, a popular component of each Tosh.0 episode which was filmed live for the first time ever.

The September 20 episode will also feature plenty of ASU airtime that will forever memorialize Tosh’s short yet eventful visit.

He asked for high energy and the audience gave it to him for every joke, take, and even recording for laugh tracks to be edited in later.

Not a single curse word was spared and we Sun Devils did learn something: Tosh deserves his “20 years” of fame because being a comedian and filming a television show isn’t as easy as it seems.

“I liked the fact that he messed up a couple of times,” said criminal justice junior Caitlyn Tirella. “It made it seem more real.”

And for that, Tosh, we thank you.
