Tempe Police arrived at the residence after the ex-boyfriend called police and told the officers that the woman had a drug addiction and advised them to search through her purse for any drugs, police reported.

The ex-boyfriend assisted police in the search and was able to locate one and a half Vicodin pills in the woman’s wallet, according to the report.

The woman was awake at that time and admitted to police the pills were hers and that they were generic painkillers, police reported. She also said she had a prescription but could not provide documentation or a pill bottle, according to the report.
