Four Sun Devils compete in all-star game

The ASU football season ended nearly a month ago in Las Vegas, but four Sun Devils seniors competed one last time with a pitchfork on their helmets Monday night in Tucson.

Linebacker Colin Parker, safety Eddie Elder, wide receiver Aaron Pflugrad and long-snapper Cameron Kastl all participated in the second annual Casino Del Sol All-Star Game at Kino Stadium.

All four ASU players played on the Stripes team against the Stars squad, with the Stripes winning 24-21.

Last year Sun Devil Stadium hosted the event with Sun Devil receiver Brandon Smith winning MVP honors.

During the 2011 season, Pflugrad caught 44 passes for 665 yards and five touchdowns. Parker lead the Sun Devils in tackles with 75 to go along with 2.5 sacks and one interception. Elder collected 66 tackles and one interception.
